Riemerbergl Alm is an extremely cosy, small mountain restaurant. You can sit on the terrace and watch the horses and cows on the meadows. Naturally, traditional hut meals with salad and herbs from the garden are served here. You can enjoy the fantastic view of the Ultental, the Schwemmalm as well as the Hohen Dieb and Ultner Hochwart.
The mountain restaurant can be reached by a short hiking trail starting from Simian. To do so, drive to the beginning of the Zoggler Lake in St. Walburg and from there turn right towards Larcherberg and the Simian locality. The car park is small. We recommend this hike on week days.
Hike along the No. 4 trail, either on a well-marked path or along the forest road. If the Riemerbergl Alm is not your final destination, you can then continue your hike to the Marschnell Alm (50 min) or on to the Hohen Dieb (2 h 20 min).
