Jörg Trafoier’s restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star for his creative dishes. While the bistro is also open for lunch serving light meals, the gourmet restaurant can only be visited in the evenings.
The cuisine of head chef and host Jörg Trafoier has the same character as the Vinschgau Valley: individual, unexpected, down to earth and yet also looking into the distance. Right from the beginning, his focus was on regional natural products. The menu is a reflection of the season. Herbs, flowers, rose hips, nuts, wormwood and various sun-ripened fruits, are harvested and collected throughout the year and processed and preserved according to grandmother’s or mother’s recipes.
